WAG 24-01-04-a: Assignment For Child Support, Alimony, Maintenance (TANF)

PM 24-01-04-a

1. Inform the client that Illinois law:
   • entitles HFS to any support money paid by an absent parent on behalf of their child(ren) who receives TANF; and
   • requires the client to report the receipt of any support payments.
2. Inform a client who inquires about support payments, to write to the child support enforcement regional office servicing the DHS Family Community Resource Center.
