PM 22-08-13: SDX Family Community Resource Center Inquiry Program

WAG 22-08-13.

The State Data Exchange (SDX) provides Social Security Administration information on SSI applicants and recipients. The following information is provided on the screen:

  • alien residence date;
  • SSA appeals status;
  • date of birth;
  • claim number;
  • disability date;
  • early disabled widow/widower indicator;
  • exclusions from central budgeting;
  • Interim Assistance reimbursement status code;
  • payee name and address;
  • Qualified Severely Impaired Individual (1619) status;
  • railroad retirement board number;
  • SSI application date;
  • SSI lump sum benefit amount and date;
  • 3 months payment status;
  • transaction code; and
  • unearned income other than SSI (amount and frequency).

The Department uses monthly SDX information for central budgeting of SSI. When the SSI amount centrally budgeted differs from the amount claimed by the client, complete an SOLQ inquiry. If SOLQ information confirms the client's statement, refer the discrepancy to the SSA Programs Control Unit (SSA/PCU). If SOLQ does not confirm the client's statement, obtain other proof of the SSI amount received and refer to SSA/PCU.
