PM 22-07-02-b: TANF Clients

WAG 22-07-02-b.

The Department pays premiums for a month that a cash case is in zero grant, but will not pay the premium for a month for which the case is suspended or canceled. A person can enroll in SMIB after becoming eligible for TANF.

The following persons are eligible for SMIB Buy-in:

• clients receiving TANF and enrolled in Medicare;
• QMB eligible clients;
• SLIB eligible clients.
