PM 22-07-02-a: AABD Clients

WAG 22-07-02-a.

The following persons are eligible for SMIB Buy-in:

1. AABD Cash and AABD zero grant clients;
2. Medical clients who, except for the benefit increase of 1972, would be eligible to receive AABD Cash;
3. clients who receive both Regular Medical and SSI;
4. QMB clients;
5. SLIB clients; and
6. QI-1 clients.

The Department pays the SMIB premium for all eligible persons in a., b., and c. above, for each month they are enrolled for SMIB and also receive AABD, or both Medical and SSI.

The Department will not pay the premium for a month for which the case is canceled.
