Regular Roll Benefits

(Client) Regular roll benefits issued through the Illinois Link system are available no later than 3:00 a.m. on the same date every month. (This includes weekends and holidays.)

  • Regular roll availability dates can be found on the case search summary screen in IES by clicking on the case number hyperlink.
  • All converted cases keep their Legacy availability date (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th).
  • For newly approved cases, the availability date is between the 1st and the 10th of the month. This is based on the month already set in IES and is selected based on the last digit of the Head of Household's (HOH) individual identification number.

Example: Mrs. V's individual identification number ends with 0 (IES Individual ID # 1111111110) and 0 is considered the 10th of the month. Therefore, Mrs V's SNAP benefits will be available on the 10th day of each month. Workers can also review "regular roll availability date" on the IES Case Summary Page.
