PM 20-27-02: Prior Approval

WAG 20-27-02.

The certified transplant center must notify the Bureau of Hospital Services, in writing, before the transplant is performed in order to receive reimbursement. The written notification must include admission diagnosis, pre-transplant diagnosis and the initial work-up summary of medical findings. The Bureau of Hospital Services will provide acknowledgment of the transplant request and supply the hospital with a "patient tracking form."
