PM 20-08-02: Supportive Living Facility (SLF) Services

WAG 20-08-02.

SLFs must be located in Illinois and provide an SLF level of care to disabled persons age 22 or older and to persons age 65 or older. SLF services combine housing, personal care, 24-hour security, activities, and health-related services in response to the individual needs of the person. They do not provide LTC services. SLFs offer an alternative living arrangement for persons who are in need of LTC, yet have the ability to live independently with some assistance. Cash assistance is not available to SLF residents.
