PM 19-07-03: Removal From Mid-Point Reporting Status

WAG 19-07-03

IES will remove a case from Mid-Point Reporting status when:

  • A Cash or AABD case reports a change and they no longer meet the requirements for Mid-Point Reporting. Leave the case in Mid-Point Reporting status until the next scheduled REDE. If the client has no budgetable earnings at the next REDE. 
  • A SNAP only case includes a member who has to meet the SNAP Work Requirement Time-Limited Benefits policy in a county of residence that is no longer waived. revised manual textFood and Nutrition Service (FNS) waiver approval allows the entire State to continue to be exempt from the SNAP Work Requirement Time-Limited Benefits policy through 10/31/2023 based on Illinois' high unemployment rate.

A Mid-Point Reporting (MPR) SNAP household is a regular roll:

  • TANF case (with or without) SNAP and there is earned income to budget on the case or
  •  any case with SNAP benefits except for the following are in Change Reporting:
    • SNAP cases where all the adults in the SNAP household are qualifying members and there is no earned income to budget on the case; or.
    • When a SNAP household has a member subject to SNAP Work Requirement Time-Limited Benefits when the policy is in effect, IES converts the case to Change Reporting.
      • Note:Effective 07/01/2022, Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) waiver approval allows the entire State to continue to be exempt from the SNAP Work Requirement Time-Limited Benefits policy through 10/31/2023 based on Illinois' high unemployment rate. The SNAP Work Requirement Time-Limited Benefits policy is NOT in effect for any county in the State For more information about the State's operation under COVID-19 see WAG 25-06-07-p; or
    • TANF cases with SNAP and there is no earned income to budget on the case.
