PM 18-01-02: Approval of Additional Benefits

The beginning date varies for a case approved for additional benefits. If the unit is eligible when the written request is received, issue benefits beginning that date. If the unit becomes eligible after the written request is received, issue benefits beginning the date they became eligible.

Approve the request so that the increased benefits are received in a timely manner. See PM 17-01-01 for disposition time limits.
