For all clients except sheltered care clients, issue the first cash benefits for an eligible AABD case beginning the 30th day after the date of application.
Day one of the 30-day period is the day after the application date.
For clients who reside in sheltered care homes, issue the first cash benefits for an eligible AABD case beginning the date of application or the date of entry into the sheltered care home, whichever is later.
NOTE: If the client enters the sheltered care home after the 30th day following the date of application, issue the first cash benefits beginning the 30th day following the date of application.
