PM 17-02-00: Applicant Determined Eligible/Presumed Eligible

WAG 17-02-00

Issue a written notice of decision to the applicant when they are eligible or presumed eligible.

The Family Community Resource Center receives a list of cases for which the computer system did not send notices. Prepare and send a notice manually if the computer did not send it.

Only applicants for TANF can be presumed eligible. See PM 17-02-01-b.

An applicant for cash benefits is automatically eligible for medical benefits if they are eligible or presumed eligible for cash and they cooperate with policy about child support enforcement and medical support rights (see PM 03-19-01 and PM 24-02-01).
