The adult payee (RPT) is responsible for receiving the cash benefits and supervising the minor's use of the funds. The adult payee does not have to keep records.
The adult remains RPT until the minor parent reaches age 18, moves to another acceptable living arrangement (when a new RPT may be assigned), or there is good reason to believe the RPT is not properly fulfilling their responsibility to the minor and
