PM 13-01-03-a: Qualifying Member SNAP Units

WAG 13-01-03-a.

a SNAP unit that includes a qualifying member (see PM 05-06-01) is allowed the following special benefits when figuring Net Monthly Income:

• an income deduction for a qualifying member's medical expenses that are greater than $35; and
• unlimited deductions for excess shelter expenses. All other units have a maximum limit on excess shelter deductions (see PM 13-01-08).
