WAG 09-03-01-c: Railroad Retirement Benefits

PM 09-03-01-c.

  1. Instruct the client to apply for benefits with the Railroad Retirement Board, when it appears that they may be eligible.
  2. Use HFS 213, Railroad Retirement Benefit Information, to verify a client's receipt and amount of Railroad Retirement Benefits. Send the form to:

A railroad retirement claim number is made up of one or more letters followed by the account number of the wage earner on whose earnings benefits are being paid. The letter(s) identify the claimant's relationship to the wage earner.
