A person convicted once of a criminal violation of the Public Aid Code of at least $10,000, is ineligible for AABD cash. The person is ineligible for 2 years or until the total overpayment including SNAP benefits is repaid, whichever occurs first.
A person convicted for a 2nd time of a criminal violation of the Public Aid Code, on or after September 14, 1981, is permanently ineligible for AABD cash.
When a person is ineligible for AABD cash due to Healthcare and Family Services fraud, determine their eligibility for AABD Medical.
