PM 06-17-00: Disaster SNAP Program

Disaster SNAP benefits are available only when Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) approves the program for a federally declared disaster area.

The Disaster SNAP Program (DSNAP) has a special application, timeframe, and eligibility and verification requirements to help eligible victims of a federally declared disaster receive SNAP benefits quickly.  A Policy Memorandum will be issued when the Disaster SNAP Program is approved.
