WAG 06-16-07: Child Care Copayments

PM 06-16-07

When authorizing child care benefits, determine whether a copayment applies and, if so, the amount. The copayment amount depends upon:

• monthly income,
• family size; and
• 
• children's school attendance.

Verify these factors:

• at the initial application for child care,
• every 6 months, and
• whenever a change that may affect the copayment amount is reported or discovered.

Review these factors each time a child care copayment is determined.
