PM 03-04-01: Age (AABD, HBIS)

WAG 03-04-01.

To receive AABD or HBIS based on age, a person must be 65 or older. There are no age requirements to qualify for AABD Cash or AABD Medical based on blindness or disability.

Student status has no effect on AABD eligibility.

AABD can also include the following medical programs:

• Health Benefits for Immigrant Seniors (HBIS, see PM 06-36-00 Health Benefits for Immigrant Seniors).
