(Screener) If a person files a SNAP application in person, provide the applicant with Expedited/Emergency SNAP Screening Form (Form 401). Form 401 is not required for ABE or SNAP REDEs, mailed/faxed applications.  IES identifies ABE applications that need an expedited interview.  Paper applications must be reviewed to determine the need for an expedited interview.

(HSC) Eligibility for expedited benefits  is determined after registering the case in IES.
