The Accounts Receivable System (ARS) file contains information about persons who have been convicted of a criminal violation of the Public Aid Code or similar law.
When a person has been convicted, the ARS file will have:
- code CO-Criminal Order;
- the dollar amount of the convictions;
- date(s) of the convictions (indicated as judgment date); and
- former case ID number.
(FCRC) When the Family Community Resource Center becomes aware that a person who is reapplying for Cash assistance has been convicted of a criminal violation of the Public Aid Code or any similar Federal or State law, an Administrative Review
Board must review the application before it can be approved or denied. The review board consists of the LOA and a representative of the Regional Office (see PM 03-23 and
WAG 03-23).
(LOA) After the review board meets, send a memo to the BOS, Springfield, and explain the case situation and actions taken.
