IES Phase 2 Process

DHS must send a written notice for most actions taken that affect the benefit amount or case status.

A written notice may be:

  • mailed; or
  • given in hard copy; or
  • new manual materialelectronically posted to the customer's ABE Manage My Case (MMC) account.

A client may appeal any DHS actions or inactions.
