Make an immediate report if you suspect the death of a child resulted from abuse or neglect.

• Report to the DCFS 24-hour Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-25 ABUSE (800-252-2873) if you suspect that a child has been harmed by abuse or neglect. Anyone may report suspected child abuse or neglect by calling 911 or using the Online Reporting System https://dcfsonlinereporting.dcfs.illinois.gov/.
