Illinois School for the Visually Impaired will be offering two summer camp opportunities in summer 2023!
2023 Virtual Summer Camp (June 21-22 for grades K-5)
Want to keep your child engaged in creative & inspiring, hands-on STEAM activities? Our live-streaming classes allows us to interact with students in real time! Our Virtual Summer Camp runs from June 21 to June 23, 2023. We will have a morning session for students going in-to Kindergarten through 2nd grade and an afternoon session for students going into 3rd through 5th grade on June 21 and June 22.

Camp is open to students meeting the following requirements:
Resident of Illinois, have a Visual Impairment, going into grades Kindergarten through 5th, and are able to access Zoom via any device.

2023 In-person Summer Camp (June 25-29 for ages 9-19)(ISVI Campus)
This opportunity will bring together students who are blind and visually impaired from schools throughout Illinois for an exciting learning experience. Students will engage in S.T.E.A.M. & Transition activities throughout the day and enjoy evening recreational activities, such as swimming, field trips, and outdoor recreation.
Camp is open to students meeting the following requirements:
Resident of Illinois, have a Visual Impairment, ages 9-19, do not currently attend ISVI, not a high school graduate, and have appropriate independent living skills.
This year families are responsible for providing transportation to ISVI and we will provide transportation home to a designated drop off location near you.
