The Bureau of Accessibility and Job Accommodation (BAJA) and the Illinois ADA Project host an ADA Distance Learning session on "Implementing Olmstead, The Status of Enforcement Efforts." The session discusses the works of the U.S. Departmetn of Justice, Civil Rights Division on an aggressive effort to enforce the Supreme Court's decision in Olmstead v. L.C., a rule that requires states to eliminate unnecessary segregation of persons with disabilities and to ensure that persons with disabilities receive services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs. This session will also discuss how the integration versus segregation mandate has been applied to employment.
