Easter Seals to manage Child and Family Connections in Peoria and Champaign

The Department of Human Service, Division of Family & Community Services, Bureau of Early Intervention is pleased to announce that Easter Seals will oversee two of the 25 Early Intervention regional intake entities called Child & Family Connections or CFCs. CFCs are responsible to be the initial contact for children birth to three with potential developmental delays, to coordinate eligibility determination and to manage the ongoing eligible children under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part C.

Easter Seals comes to the division with a long history of providing coordination and services for children with developmental disabilities throughout central Illinois. Easter Seals also established a website to operate for both of the CFCs, www.cicfc.org.

The two offices are located geographically within the areas they serve:

Serving children in Henry, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford counties.
