"Our job fair is a great event for job seekers to learn about new opportunities and to connect with employers and agencies that are committed to assisting people with disabilities in living independent and productive lives," said Chris Eickhorst, Supervisor for the Freeport and Sterling Division of the Rehabilitation Services Office.

The Employment and Resource Fair will be held at Highland Community College, 2998 West Pearl City Road, Freeport. Information will be available in English, Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL).

The job fair will also include representatives from a variety of agencies who will offer assistance with resources and services to help individuals with disabilities live more independently.

The job fair is free and open to both individuals with disabilities and the general public. The event is sponsored by DHS' Division of Rehabilitation Services.
