Financial Requirements
Income
Use current AABD Medical policy to determine who to include in the income standard, what income counts, and what income is exempt or nonexempt. Refer to PM
15-04-03 and WAG 15-04-03. Don't count SSI or any exempt benefit. Children under age 18 may be, but are not required to be, included in the
income standard. If included, count their nonexempt unearned income.
Persons Considered Employed
In addition to providing proof of income, the person must show proof of payment under the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA), Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), or the equivalent.
