27-76-00 Item 76: Last Med Determ Date

The computer system determines the Last Medicaid Determination Date.

The date is initially set by the system as the calendar month in which the approval action was taken. Thereafter, the system updates the date to the calendar month in which any of the following is processed:

• a REDE;
• a SWAP (other than a central SWAP);
• a person in spenddown status becomes eligible for Assist or Moms and Babies; or
• a cancellation with extended medical.

This date determines the continuous eligibility period.
