27-69-00 Item 69: Match. (Person-type)

Item 69, Person-Type, is used for TANF Cash and All Kids Assist/Moms and Babies, to describe each adult and child included in a case. For SNAP Only, Item 69 is used to identify SNAP E&T volunteers.

For each person listed in an AABD Cash case, AABD Medical case, or RRA Cash case; and for each SNAP component member, enter a dash.

Enter one of the following codes for each person included in a TANF Cash or All Kids Assist/Moms and Babies case.

ITEM 69 CODE	PERSON-TYPE: TANF
1	First Adult or Caretaker Relative The parent (natural or adoptive) or other needy eligible relative with whom the child is living who is responsible for the child's welfare and whose needs are also met through TANF.
2	Spouse of the caretaker relative who is not the parent of an eligible child See PM 04-01-03 for complete information on when to include a stepparent as an optional adult.
3	Child who is not a minor parent of another child in the case
4	2nd Adult who is the Parent of an Eligible Child See PM 04-01-04 for complete information on including a required 2nd adult.
5	Civil Union partner of caretaker relative who is not the parent of an eligible child (TANF only).
6	Child who is a minor parent of another child in the case
