PM 23-06-01-b: Delaying the Hearing

WAG 23-06-01-b

DHS tries to make the time and place of the hearing convenient to the client. A hearing can be delayed once, if the client or someone acting for them asks for a delay. The request must be made to the Assistance Hearings Section in writing at least 10 calendar days before the day the hearing is to be held. The hearing cannot be delayed for longer than 30 days.
