PM 23-04-02: Reporting SNAP Overpayments

WAG 23-04-02

When there has been a change in the makeup of the SNAP unit that was overpaid, report the overpayment against a case, based on the following order:

1. The case that now contains the payee of the SNAP unit that received the overpayment.
2. If the payee of the SNAP unit that had the overpayment is not receiving SNAP, report the claim against any active case that has an adult from the original SNAP unit.
3. If there is more than one active SNAP unit with an adult from the original SNAP unit but no SNAP unit with the payee, report the claim against the SNAP unit that receives the most monthly SNAP.
