HealthChoice Illinois Mandatory Managed Care Plans (MCP); Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS); Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) and YouthCare plans provide Illinois Medicaid customers with care coordination and medical services.

Customers who are required to enroll in a managed care program will be contacted by Illinois Client Enrollment Services (ICES) via mail and notified of their opportunity to choose a health plan or if no choice is made by the due date in the letter, the plan that they will be auto assigned to and the effective date of the assignment. Refer to PM 20-24-01 for more information.
