Question: Is it acceptable to subcontract web design services under this NOFO?
Answer: Subcontracting of services is allowed under the NOFO. As stated in the NOFO, Subcontractor Agreement(s) and budgets must be pre-approved by the Department and on file with the Department. Subcontractors are subject to all provisions of this Agreement. The successful applicant Agency shall retain sole responsibility for the performance and monitoring of the subcontractor.
Question: Will the current AYRW website and 1-800-GAMBLER number continue functioning or do they need to be replaced by new ones? Is the role of the new grantee to develop such services or to work in collaboration with the current providers?
Answer: The current AYRW website and number will continue as stated in the NOFO: "Engage, negotiate, and contract (as appropriate) with NCPG, ICPG, and other organizations to ensure continued use of the helpline phone numbers, text numbers, chat numbers, and website URLs." Changes to enhance he website and other services are expected: "Design and monitor the statewide GD website which will include but is not limited to: screening instruments for individuals; a search function leading individuals to treatment resources; connection to live chat resources for individuals; links to other resources, data and statistics on GD, gaming, internet gambling, and sports betting; and training resources for providers."
