  1. Program Description
    Youth Development Training and Technical Assistance grants design and implement training, technical assistance and support activities to meet the needs of the grant programs for the area to which they are applying. For Chicago, these include Youth Development, High Risk Youth Services and Chicago Convener. For Greater Illinois, these include Youth Development, Trauma Informed Behavioral Health Services and Greater Illinois Coordinating Council.
    The selected YD Training and Technical Assistance providers can expect to serve one-half to one-third of the RPSA grantees for the area to which they are applying. The selected applicants will assess grantees training preferences and program needs and work with DHS to develop an approved detailed training plan.
  2. FY26 Continuation Application
    Current Providers will receive a continuation application packet via email. Providers may request additional copies of the continuation application by sending an email to DHS.ViolencePreventionServices@illinois.gov
    1. This continuation application is for Year 2 under CSFA #444-80-2772. It is a 12-month project period which spans two state fiscal years. The twelve-month project period (grant term) will run from 10/1/25 - 9/30/26.
      1. Eligibility is limited to current RPSA Youth Development Training and Technical Assistance grantees funded under CSFA# 25-444-80-2772.
      2. Each applicant must be registered in the Illinois GATA Grantee Portal and must continue to be GATA Pre-Qualified.
      3. Applicant organizations must complete the FY26 ICQ before an award can be made. (Accessed through the Grantee Portal.) If the FY26 ICQ is not available in the Grantee Portal prior to the application due date, grantees should submit their application without the ICQ and will be notified when it becomes available.
      4. Applicant organizations must submit a complete FY26 Application Packet to DHS.ViolencePreventionServices@illinois.gov by due date listed in the continuation application. Include "CSFA# 444-80-2772" on the subject line.
    2. A complete application packet includes:
      1. Uniform Application for Grant Assistance
      2. Application Summary Page and Program Narrative UPDATE
      3. FY26 Budget must be entered into CSA by application due date
    3. The Bureau of Violence Prevention reserves the right to request additional information from the applicant to assist in FY26 funding and programmatic decisions.
