PM 18-03-11: Removing a Person From a Medical Program

Eligibility under all medical programs must be determined before medical benefits can be terminated for a person. Take immediate action to terminate benefits when it becomes known that they are ineligible for benefits under all programs.

With IES Phase 2, some persons will be automatically removed from a medical program EDG due to batch action triggers based on eligibility criteria such as age or the receipt of Medicare. See PM 19-08-00 for more information about batch actions in IES.
