The newly expanded Community Behavioral Health Professional Loan Repayment Program, administered through the Illinois Student Assistance Commission and funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, is now accepting applications for the 2025 fiscal year.

This program provides loan repayment assistance to qualified mental health and substance use professionals, including Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors, Certified Recovery Support Specialists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors, and other professionals who have worked in an eligible setting for the past 12 months prior to application. All eligible individuals are encouraged to apply.
