CANTS PROCESS ANNUAL REVIEW

ACES$ sent out notifications for Personal Support Workers to complete their August CANTS, but only 50% have complied so far.

If PSWs do not complete the CANTS process, they risk experiencing a pay gap.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR ILLINOIS IDD SERVICE PROVIDERS TO LEARN ABOUT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR THOSE WITH INTELLECTUAL and DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

Join this in-person training session to learn about supportive housing for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This half-day session will include a tour of a supportive housing property and a high-level overview of what supportive housing is and the different ways IDD service providers can be involved in supportive housing development. Supportive Housing Development means, the partnerships and processes needed to create new supportive housing in a community. This training opportunity is designed specifically for IDD service providers who are interested in learning about supportive housing, with a potential interest in exploring what it might look like to be involved in developing or providing services in a property.

Two different dates will be offered for this training. The training content will be identical during each session, so feel free to sign up for the session that is most convenient for you. A follow-up virtual session will be offered in October for those interested in the next steps to getting involved in a project.
