IL PMP Files First Notice

The Illinois Prescription Monitoring Program (ILPMP), newly situated under the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, would like to announce First Notice was filed on 3/29/2024 for amendments to 77 Ill. Adm. Code 2080. First Notice was published in the Illinois Register on March 29, 2024. (48 Ill. Reg. 4540) The 45-day First Notice public comment period will run from March 29 - May 13. Specifically, this rulemaking updates definitions; expands the opportunity for additional vendors to assist with integrations; increases the documentation of these processes; requires a memorandum of understanding among the parties; and clarifies the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Pharmacy Management System integration processes with the ILPMP.

Interested persons may present their comments concerning these rules within 45 days after the date of this issue of the Illinois Register. All requests and comments should be summited in writing to:
