Verify income of the child. See WAG Chapter 07 and WAG Chapter 08.

1. To figure the amount of the deduction, subtract the child's net income from their needs. The difference is the amount of the deduction.
2. Enter the deduction from the person's income to meet the needs of a child in AIS or on HFS 2500.
3. Send the HFS 2500 with the approval notice.
