Verification that the minor parent meets the requirement may be obtained directly by the Family Community Resource Center either by verbal statement (in person or by phone), or by a signed statement or other document from any reliable source.
The verification must show the address, name, and age of the adult with whom the minor parent lives. The verification must also show that the person with whom the client lives is a parent, legal guardian, or other adult relative, or that the facility
where the client lives is an adult-supervised home.
An adult relative is any specified relative who is 18 or older (see PM 03-05-00).
