Assets of a non-SNAP unit member (such as a roomer) do not affect the unit's eligibility. But, the assets of an ineligible SNAP unit member (such as an ineligible noncitizen) are used when determining eligibility for noncategorically eligible SNAP units (see PM 05-07-00, PM 05-07-02).
