Catalog of State Financial Assistance (CSFA) Reorganization
The Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS/ SUPR) has undertaken a restructuring of how we classify all our funded programs.
The change aims to help you and IDHS/SUPR organize grant agreements by the type of service. We are confident that the new classification of grants will simplify the grant process for organizations with multiple grants with similar services.
Although you will see a reduction in the number of programs you must apply for in FY24, the changes will not affect the number of programs currently supported with IDHS/SUPR funding.
Applications and budgets are connected to their corresponding Catalog of State Financial Assistance (CSFA) numbers. Most, not all, FY24 agreements will fall under new CSFA numbers by the type of service.
Therefore, all potential grantees must make sure that they use the correct CSFA to find the correct application and create a budget within the Contract Service Administration Tracking System (CSA).
Please contact your Grant Manager if you have questions or concerns.
