Notice of Child Care Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Benefits
This notice is to inform you of your eligibility for Child Care P-EBT benefits. The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) has been granted approval by the federal government to continue to issue P-EBT benefits to eligible households with SNAP enrolled children in child care for the months of August 2021 through May 2022.
To be eligible for Child Care P-EBT, all the following must be true:
- The child is under the age of 6 years as of 10/01/2021; and
- The child actively received SNAP benefits for one or more months between August 2021 through May 2022, assessed on month by month basis; and
- The child did not already receive School P-EBT benefits for the same month.
The Child Care P-EBT benefits to cover August 2021 through December 2021 were already issued to eligible children in June 2022. According to our records, your household received SNAP benefits for at least one month between January 2022 through May 2022 and had a child that met the above conditions of eligibility. For each eligible month in this period, you were authorized $29.60 for each child that meets the above requirements. This amount was authorized during July 2022, according to the availability dates shown below to the same Illinois Link EBT account as your SNAP benefits.
If you no longer receive SNAP benefits and need to order a replacement card, you may do so by calling 1-800-678-5465 (LINK) or visit https://ebt-link.illinois.gov to manage your Link EBT account or order a new card.

Aviso de beneficios de EBT (P-EBT) por la pandemia de cuidado
Este aviso es para informarle de su elegibilidad para los beneficios de Child Care P-EBT. El Departamento de Servicios Humanos de Illinois (IDHS) ha recibido la aprobación del gobierno federal para continuar emitiendo beneficios de P-EBT a hogares elegibles con niños inscritos en SNAP en cuidado infantil durante los meses de agosto de 2021 a mayo de 2022.
