Dear Colleagues,
At IDHS, we are committed to supporting the safety and health of employees, customers, patients, and residents. Thanks to Governor Pritzker and our colleagues at the Illinois Department of Public Health, IDHS has been helping administer the COVID-19 vaccine since January.
I am proud to share that 12,442 Illinois residents, including more than 4,000 IDHS employees, have received at least their first dose onsite in an IDHS office, hospital, or developmental center. I cannot thank our team -- especially workers on the front lines enough for their heroic, lifesaving efforts throughout this pandemic.
