WAG 04-01-02-d: Three (3) Generation Families

When 3 generations of a family live together, combine the cases into one case, if the minor caretaker:

  • has never been married, and
  • is eligible as a dependent child, and
  • is living with eligible blood-related or adopted siblings who receive or are applying for TANF as dependent children, and
  • revised textthe minor's child does not have 2 parents in the home or the separate case with the minor's child and both parents is not eligible for cash due to income.

If the minor caretaker's child receives cash, the child must be in the same case as the minor caretaker.
