PM 03-06-01-e: Medically Fragile Technology Dependent (MFTD) Waiver

Severely disabled children are approved under the Medically Fragile Technology Dependent (MFTD) Waiver Program, when it is determined cost-effective to keep the child at home rather than in an institution (see PM 06-11-01).

Beginning July 1997, months in which a family on TANF has a child in the home approved for a MFTD waiver do not count against the 60-month limit for anyone in the case.
