Mercury benefits are processed by Springfield on the first workday after the date of terminal entry. They are available through the Illinois Link System the day after the Springfield processing day.
Use the Mercury Schedule of Terminal Transmittal and Link Benefit Availability Dates to meet the processing timeframe for issuance of SNAP benefits.
Example 1: An application is filed for SNAP benefits on Monday and the client is entitled to expedited service. Complete terminal entry no later than close of business on Thursday. Benefits are available on Saturday.
Example 2: An application is filed for SNAP benefits on Friday and the client is entitled to expedited service. Complete terminal entry no later than the close of business on Monday. Benefits are available on
