The Sheridan Release Project is designed to support the transition to a stable community environment of inmates who have completed drug rehabilitation at the Sheridan Correctional Facility.
Inmates involved in the project are prepared for their release by the Sheridan Re-Entry Team. The team helps them connect with outside support services before their release. Connecting with the local DHS Family Community Resource Center (FCRC) for
cash, medical, or SNAP benefits is one of the key supports for a successful transition.
Applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements for the cash, medical, or SNAP program.
