Posting Notification: FY 2021 Funding Applications and Programmatic Risk Assessments
Fiscal Year 2021 Funding Applications and Programmatic Risk Assessments are now posted on the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) website at https://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=120314.
The purpose of this Smart Alert is to specify each step that must be completed by all current or potential grantees before IDHS staff can accept any application for funding. The steps and links for technical assistance are as follows:
- Have a Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN). This is completed once at the beginning.
- Have a current DUNS number. Renewal occurs annually and information is updated as needed.
- Have a current System for Award Management (SAM) cage code. Renewal occurs annually and information is updated as needed.
- Register and be in good standing with the Office of the Illinois Secretary of State (does not apply to government entities and schools). Renewal occurs annually and information is updated as needed.
- Register with the Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) in the Grantee Portal. This is completed once at the beginning, and the information is updated as needed.
- Authenticate your organization in the Grantee Portal. This is completed once at the beginning and information is updated as needed.
- Pre-qualify by completing the Administrative and Fiscal Risk Assessment (ICQ) on the Grantee Portal. Occurs annually, and the information is updated as needed.
You will also be required to complete a budget for your funding request, enter it into the CSA Tracking System, and print a hard copy as part of the funding application. Additionally, a Programmatic Risk Assessment (PRA) must be completed for each application.
Fiscal Year 2021 Grant Applications, Budget, PRA, and ICQ's are due by April 23, 2020.
