FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
The Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS/SUPR) has a funding opportunity for Gambling Disorder Services. This NOFO provides the opportunity for licensed SUD treatment providers to apply for additional funding to deliver gambling disorder treatment services. The NOFO also provides a chance for other non-licensed, community-based organizations to apply for funding to provide aggressive outreach to populations and areas of the state that are most impacted by the expansion of gambling in Illinois. Please encourage organizations in your network to apply, focusing specifically on hard to reach populations.
Get prequalified and apply for the opportunity at: https://www.dhs.state.il.us/page.aspx?item=114615. Applications are due on a rolling deadline, and services are needed throughout the state.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) currently has The Harm Reduction Community Linkages Project funding opportunity available. This project supports capacity building at harm reduction organizations statewide to expand their client base and develop more comprehensive linkages to prevention, treatment and harm reduction services for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD), including prescription opioids as well as illicit drugs such as heroin. This project is funded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Overdose Data to Action grant.
